How to measure your torso
- Tilt your head slightly forward and locate the most prominent vertebra at the base of your neck.
- Place your hands on the top of your hips (iliac crests).
- Draw an imaginary line between your thumbs.
- Measure the distance between the vertebra at the base of your neck and this line: this is your torso length.

Note: Torso length is the most important criterion for choosing the size of a Gregory backpack. Two people of the same height may require different pack sizes depending on their torso length.
