Concept Since the beginning of Karpos, we have learned to listen and take into account the advice of mountaineers from their experiences in the mountains and on the most difficult walls in the world. Each with their own comments, all united by three requirements: lightness, protection, compressibility. Our research and development department has worked for years on these three key words to design the Vinson Evo jacket. Made with a hybrid construction, the K-Dry fabric gives this jacket a waterproofness equivalent to 20,000 mm of water column and a breathability of 70,000 g/m2/24h, while the Thermo Fleece fabric inserts in the hood, cuffs, bottom of the sleeves and inside the back provide comfort and warmth. The warmth is mainly provided by the Primaloft® Silver Active100 padding on the sleeves and hood, and 130 grams elsewhere on the jacket. A concentrate of technology in only 650 grams of jacket, easy to store in the backpack when you are not using it thanks to its compressibility.
